COWABUNGA! Turtle Power Hits the Arcade!

Back in May, Numskull Designs announced the original arcade hit sensation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its sequel TMNT: Turtles in Time would be joining their Quarter Arcades range, highly collectible ¼ scale replicas of original arcade machines. The cabinets are now in stock and have started shipping to all customers who pre-ordered.

Numskull worked closely with Konami to make sure these TMNT Quarter Arcades continue the legacy of bringing authentic arcade experiences to the home. Every detail has been meticulously recreated to ensure both machines look, feel and play as close to their original arcade counterparts as possible; side art and control panels match the originals, marquees and coin doors illuminate when the machines are switched on, and most importantly of all, they support four-player co-operative games so players can team up with friends and family to take down Shredder and his minions!  

If four people huddled around a quarter scale cabinet sounds like a challenge, don’t worry - the service doors open to reveal four individual USB ports allowing external game pads to be connected!  (Official Quarter Arcade control pads available to buy separately) 

As well as being the first Quarter Arcades to offer 4-player simultaneous play, the TMNT cabs also boast the largest screens of any Quarter Arcades released to date and are the first to feature a CRT lens, giving the screens an old school TV look, adding to that feel of nostalgia.  

Featuring fast-paced gameplay, memorable soundtracks, and challenging levels, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Quarter Arcades are sure to provide hours of entertainment.
